"Album X" (still untitled) will be released on the 25th of April 2000. This has been said by the Billboard magazine, and is most likely to be confirmed. Can't wait!

The new album will be released early next year, and Hanson are only a few weeks away from finishing the album. Stay patient, everyone!

Zac Hanson did NOT cut his hair. Isaac and Taylor are the only ones who cut their hair. Personally, I think Ike looks a lot better with long hair. Bad move, Ike!

I BELIEVE Isaac has a girlfriend named Keshet Winfrey. *Not confirmed* As I said, I BELIEVE she's his girlfriend. I'm not saying she is, I'm just saying I believe she is. More inside information about this coming up. Watch this space.

Yes guys, you can kill me. It has been more than 4 months since I have updated the Cafe. I have added a few chapters of my latest story, "So I Became Taylor's Little Brother" to the "Some Light Reading While You Dine?" page, so be sure to check that out. As on the Hansons, they are still busy recording. Demos of the new songs are all over the Internet, so be sure to check them out. They rock! I shall try to update the Cafe more frequently. My apologies.

Whoa! I haven't updated this page for ages! Sorry for the iconviniece. I'm having my mid-year examinations at the moment, I'm dead! Well, here goes.

• Hanson will be attending the sneak preview of "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace"

• Hanson's home was not destroyed during the storms in Oklahoma.

• Hanson has agreed to auction off FIVE autographed copies of MOE for the Red Cross to help the Kosovo refugees. Check out the auction at http://auctions.yahoo.com.

• They will be starting the recording progress soon.

• Stephen King mentions "MMMBop" in his latest novel entitled The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. On page 161 in the chapter "Top of the Seventh" it says, "She sang softly under her breathe as she worked, first the Boyz To Da Maxx song that had been in her head throughout, then the Hansons "MMMm-Bop", then a snatch of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame." I believe he intentionally mispelled it. Fictional world, fictional spelling. Speaking of horror, if you have been to the new movie Idle Hands you may have heard a Hanson reference as well. Anton and his friends, Mick and Pnub, are talking about the Halloween dance and that they would never go, saying, "Yeah, cant you just see us groovin' to Hanson..."

Wow, what a hectic week for me. There's a rumor that Hanson's new album will be called 'Everywhere'. This has not being confirmed yet. Hanson Day (6th of May) is just around the corner. What're your plans? Send them in! I'm gonna send ten thousand emails to the radio station I always listen to and I'm going to ring them non-stop all day, requesting for them to play MMMBop! And if that doesn't work, I'm gonna boycott them.

Sorry for not updating for quite some time, I hope I didn't cause any inconvinience. Not much updates on the boys, except that I've heard an unconfirmed rumor that Zac has just gotten braces. I'll keep you informed. Watch this space.

10th of April 1999

Thanks to Futtergirl for this piece of usefull information- Hanson is will be in the issue of Rolling Stone on the week of May 7. It's going to be a teen issue, so it'll have all sorts of stuff we care about. A lot of people who went to the Coconuts signing in NYC on 11/4/98 got their photos taken by a lady from Rolling Stone and she said it would be in an upcoming issue. They're going to include photos from the signing

Hanson is on the Cheerios box. They are on there for the 'Got Milk?' book. Their pic is on the side of the box. Itz to get the Got Milk book for $11.75 instead of the regular price; and $2 goes to a charity.

Hanson are in Los Angeles at the moment.

In a recent AOL Live Chat, Britney Spears mentioned that she thinks Hanson is "really cool."

In Australia, Ugly Phil had a mini conversation with Hanson. It was part of a contest where 4 girls got a chance to speak with Taylor. Here's a summary of the event:

• They've written around 25 song and had made finished demos for ten.

• Ugly Phil and Zac were going to make a rap band but Zac decided to pull out because of Ugly Phil's lack of rapping skills.

• Taylor explained that he's wanted to have the earring for a long time and was determined to get it done.

• Taylor also said that they hope to have a new single out by this fall.

• After their album is out they plan to come to Australia as one of their first stops.

• Ugly Phil sang a bit of "I Will Come to You" when Tay declined.

• The 4th girl asked for him to sing IWCTY again, but Zac and Tay were in the mood for "Where's the Love" so all 3 of them sang that

• Zac's voice sounded low but settled down. He sound very happy.

• Hanson wants fans to send all the money they would have spent on them on gifts to donate it to 'Tulsa's Food Fund'. They raised tons of money and about 85,000 homeless people were fed!!

There is NO new single to be released in July. It seems that a girl just made the whole thing up. Apparently, someone named 'Sophie' posed as a magazine reporter for an English magazine and called Christopher Sabec- Hanson's manager. Although Christopher is not usually inclined to give interviews, he wanted to be nice, so he chatted with this poser for about two whole minutes. She then twisted around everything he said and posted it all over the Internet that Hanson have a single due out in July. Christopher is extremely angry about this. This 'Sophie', even tried calling Christopher for a second time and posed as an English reporter. Once she figured out that Christopher was on to her, she hung up on him and left him VERY angry. Bully.

There's a commercial which is promoting a new Fox show called "Family Guy" on April 11th and the commercial shows Hanson getting off a tour bus and a cartoon character from the show starts shooting at them. (DUH! TALK ABOUT DUMB!)

25th of March 1999

Hanson's new album will be out at the end of September, while a *spankin' brand new* single from the new album will be released in July. Yahoo! We are adviced to watch the charts. Go Hanson! Sing a song and make us drool! (Okay that was corny) Hanson are demo-ing and interviewing producers, etc. at the moment. They will be beginning the actual recording soon in San Francisco, New York, and possibly the UK. Coolness plus.

Radio Disney has made a compilation CD of all of the most requested and favourite songs from the station. The CD includes "River" as well as other popular top 40 style songs. Plus, it's got Disney soundtrack songs from Mulan and The Lion King. It's onsale on March 16 everywhere and at CDNow (you can pre-order now).

17th of March 1999

Hanson have won all the categories that they were nominated for in the second annual Entertainment Online music awards. There is a picture of Hanson with Bob Weir together in the Rolling Stone magazine with a caption saying Hanson played "expertly" cool. It's the Guitar Gods special issue. Isn't that cool? (These are pretty outdated news, but what the heck, I kept forgetting to post them up!)

Oh cool, it's Taylor Hanson's 16th birthday! The big day is finally here! Watch out 'cuz Tay's gonna run you down! Happy birthday to ya Tay, you're getting old fast. And to think it was only yesterday when you were a little 14-year-old kid jumping around in front of a giant pansy.

Sorry there hasn't been much updates lately, but all is quiet in Hanson Land. It so quiet you can hear the Hansons snoring. (No offence there!) Those who are sending Taylor a birthday present or something for his 16th birthday, which is tomorrow, good luck!

Sorry guys! It seems that I gave you guys false information on Taylor's earring. He had it done ON Valentine's Day, not two days before V-Day. Here's what he replied during the Yahoo! Hanson chat when asked whether he got his ear pierced: "I did get an earring. It's the cartiledge piercing. I got it on Valentine's Day in New York." Hope that clears things up!
